How to make biscuit with strawberry jam
In a bowl, add all ingredients: gem, butter, sugar, wheat flour and vanilla essence. With the tips of the fingers, mix gently until it forms a homogeneous mass. With the aid of palms, medium-sized balls mold with the dough and then flatten them gently to form the cookies. Using a spoon, carefully make the shape of a heart in the center of each cookie, creating a space for the strawberry jam. Fill in the hearts with the traditional strawberry jam Casa Madeira, ensuring that each cookie receives good amount of the product. Preheat the oven at 180ºC and then arrange the cookies in a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until cookies are slightly golden on the edges.
